ABOUT ME
Hellooo!
and thank you for being here!

So about moi: I am a food lover, student and an eco-geek. I now live in Cambridge where I am studying Environmental Policy. I just moved from Bruges in Belgium where I was doing a master's in European Politics at the College of Europe (a degree fully fueled on chips and chocolate indeed).
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from King's College London. Having developed a keen interest in sustainability I hope to pursue a career in stemming climate change. As a French, German and Brit, I adore the EU and all things international, from cuisines to politics. I decided to create this blog to leave my little mark on the internet and to share my recipes to show that eating healthy-ish (mainly yummy) and vegan doesn't have to cost a fortune or take up all of your time. I hope to broaden my content to cover all things food related but also some juicy politicsy things.

I thoroughly enjoy getting excited about food, whether it be in the throws of a conversation about the best type of potato, or researching permaculture, debating media, or whilst getting my boogie on cooking something that fills the kitchen with spicy scents. I would like to share some of that excitement with you and also potential frustrations in the form of rambles about the world. I truly believe (insert woowoo medidative voice) in the power of food, in a wholeeee list of ways, but also have had enough of magazines and ads dictating my worth based on the amount of food I don't eat. So on that note bon appétit!

Hope to see you around,

Ellie
